Cell Phone Tree Towers
I read an article in the Chronicle today about how Marin county gave Verizon the okay to put up a cell phone tower in West Marin becuase it looked like a tree.
We had these "cell phone tree towers" in Pennsylvania. They always looked funny to me because they resemble redwood trees. And if you've been to PA, you know that we don't have redwoods. They were just too easy to spot, that I often wondered if disguizing them was worth it.
But maybe they will work better in Marin.
